Leadership That Comes From Lived Experience

My journey into leadership did not start in a boardroom or a degree program.

It started in the classroom.

It started as a Head Start child.

It started in real life navigating challenges, building programs, leading teams, making mistakes, learning lessons, and growing into leadership one experience at a time.

From earning my GED to becoming a multi-site childcare owner, speaker, author, and advocate, I’ve lived every layer of leadership in early childhood education.

I don’t just teach leadership theory.

I teach what it actually looks like when you are responsible for people, families, culture, compliance, staffing, and the emotional weight of leading a program that matters.

My work is rooted in one belief:

When leaders grow, everything around them changes.

You Were Made To Bloom

Through powerful storytelling rooted in Erica Saccoccio’s journey from a GED to multi-site owner, national speaker, and leadership advocate, audiences are reminded that timing does not define potential. Growth is not reserved for the early starters or the fastest movers—it belongs to anyone willing to keep going.

Speaking That Inspires and Transforms

The Truth About Leadership in Early Childhood Education

Across the country, I see the same patterns:

  • Brilliant educators doubting their voice

  • Directors carrying too much alone

  • Teams struggling with culture and retention

  • Leaders stuck in burnout and survival mode

  • And too many people waiting for “someday” to step into their potential

My work is about breaking that cycle.

Through storytelling, honesty, and practical leadership strategy, I help leaders:

  • Find their voice

  • Build confidence

  • Develop future leaders

  • Strengthen team culture

  • And lead in a way that is sustainable, not exhausting

Because leadership is not about doing more.

It’s about becoming more intentional with what you already carry.
